New tai chi classes for 2018 at Kilauea District park for everydaytaichi lucy's tai chi calendar:11/16/2017 Just to keep you up to date with are tai chi schedule
1. Our current session will end on Dec.12 Tuesday and Dec.14 Thursday. 2. New Spring 2018 session begins: January 9 Tuesday 9AM level 2; January 11 Thursday 9AM level 1, 10AM level 3 3. Save the date, the last Saturday in April, April 28, 2018 is our 5th annual World Tai Chi event at Kahala Mall center stage from 9-10AM. Brunch to follow at Happy Days restaurant. You may come as a participant and / or as a spectator and/or just join us to eat! 4. Summer classes: 10 week session from June 7, Thursday thru August 9. Level 1 9AM Level 2 10AM (NO Level 3 class and ONLY Thursday classes) 5. Non-instructional sessions on Monday 9AM Aina Koa park and Friday 9AM Kilauea park is ongoing as long as the park is open. We do not take any breaks unless I inform you. Details to follow as time gets closer, stay tune. The solution is easy! Your Gungie holds you up high and have your Popo quickly snap a new family portrait with you in the center...NO one will know the difference and we'll all have a good laugh!!
Jean, thanks for sharing your tai chi poses from your recent trip to China. So nice to hear you climbed the Great Wall and got so far up. Have fun with more travels with your family and continue to be strong and healthy with your continued enthusiasm and devotion to tai chi.
P.S. Note well, the nice blue sky that Jean must have brought from Hawaii! Our purple mint halo with steamed treasures of precious little morsels...another vegan creation11/14/2017 Steamed turnip cakes with Shiitake mushrooms, pan fried with garlic ginger onion and slivers of bitter melon, garnished with toasted sesame seeds paired nicely with a light purple mint salad. Oh, so pretty and oh so yummy!

Purple sweet potato with dill vinegar, crushed almonds, sprinkled with green onions and chives. Very little mayo goes into this side because potato is coated with canola oil first. Garnish with fresh mint for added flavor.

Fried tofu and avocado slices on the side. Flavored with vegetarian oyster sauce, sriracha sauce, fried minced garlic and ginger. Very little oil was used in keeping with Dean Ornish's lifestyle change model for plant base diet.
